Seminar: Development cooperation after USAID: Perspectives from the Global South
This virtual seminar will take place on February 28th at from 1pm to 2pm online and it will be moderated by visiting professor Stephan Klingebiel. This is what this important seminar will cover:
“The US Presidential executive order freezing the Official development assistance, being provided through the USAID, has not only affected a large number of development activities across the Global South but has also added a huge uncertainty to the international development cooperation system.
This webinar wants to discuss implications for countries in the Global South, including South-South Cooperation and international development dialogue formats such as in the context of the United Nations, G20, BRICS+ and similar other platforms. We discuss future prospects and emerging imperatives.”
